He takes on the role of Managing Director of Trykkluftservice at the same time.

Meox continued its positive development in 2025, increasing revenues to NOK 44.4 million while strengthening its international presence. The company, which develops underwater robots and cleaning systems for aquaculture and maritime industries, has also established a strong position in land-based aquaculture with new solutions for sludge and mortality handling and tank cleaning. Bluefront acquired 55% of Meox in July 2026.

Bio Marine has entered into a distribution agreement with W&J Knox for its lice skirts and treatment tarpaulins in the Scottish and Irish aquaculture markets. The partnership strengthens Bio Marine’s local presence and customer support, while its lice skirts help reduce salmon’s exposure to sea lice larvae and contribute to improved fish welfare.

Bluefront has acquired 55 percent of Meox, a Namsos-based developer of underwater robotics for cleaning, inspection and dead fish handling in aquaculture. Founder-owner Jaras Invest retains 45 percent.

Our portfolio company Bio Marine has been selected to supply the oxygenation solution for Thor Salmon's new land-based farming facility in Þorlákshöfn, Iceland — a project targeting around 20,000 tonnes of annual salmon production when fully built out. The delivery is carried out together with Maris and marks another step in Bio Marine's push into land-based aquaculture across the Nordics.
