Meox – Underwater robotics for a healthy farming environment
Meox develops and produces underwater robots for cleaning, inspection and removal of dead fish and sludge in both sea-based and land-based aquaculture.
The company's patented cavitation technology cleans nets, hulls and tanks using oscillated air in the water jet rather than high-pressure water alone. This removes biofouling effectively at lower pressure and water volume, and is markedly gentler on nets, coatings and fish.
The product portfolio spans net cleaning (Axuda RAY), the multi-purpose Multiflex platform for tanks, hulls, lice skirts and cage collars, the Scout system for dead fish and sludge collection, and the Vision inspection ROV — supported by a growing service and spare parts business.
From its base in Namsos, Meox serves customers across more than ten countries. The company is the leading supplier of net cleaning robots in Chile and holds a rapidly growing position in Norway.
